The owners of Tullochwood Lodges were incredibly welcoming and friendly. They personally showed us around the lodge and gave us maps of the area, making it easy for us to find shops and attractions. The lodge itself was immaculate and well-equipped, with comfortable beds and its own WiFi. The beautiful surroundings, including the forest area and play area for children, provided a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The location was also convenient, being only 10 minutes away from shops and restaurants, as well as within driving distance of several stunning beaches. I highly recommend Tullochwood Lodges for a fantastic and enjoyable stay.

We had a wonderful time during our romantic escape. The location was peaceful and surrounded by beautiful countryside. The lodge itself was very comfortable and had a lovely view of the lochan. The large TV in the sitting area was a great addition for cozy evenings. We also appreciated the dog-friendly policy and the fact that there was no extra charge for bringing our furry friend.
While the lodge was comfortable, we found that it could have been cleaner. There were a few areas that could have used some attention.

As women traveling alone, we felt very safe and comfortable at the cabin in the woods. the kitchen was the best we had ever seen in a self-catering place. the well-equipped cabin and entertainment room with books and DVDs made our stay even more enjoyable.
We felt very welcome at the lodge and had no complaints whatsoever.

The location was fantastic, surrounded by stunning countryside and close to many interesting places to explore. The property itself was incredibly well-equipped, we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Plus, the hosts were friendly and helpful, providing us with great recommendations for restaurants and walks in the area.
That it got really dark at night on the site, making it a bit difficult to venture out after sunset. While the owners did provide a torch, it required manual winding and didn't last very long.
